Today we are pleased to announce the fully seamless 3D CFD simulation workflow for rotary positive displacement machines using TwinMesh™ and Siemens Digital Industries Software Simcenter STAR-CCM+
TwinMesh™ automatically generates high quality hexahedral grids for the moving parts of pd machines. The automated export of all meshes and a ready-to-run setup for Simcenter STAR-CCM+ allow the immediate start of a simulation using all the physics available, i.e. turbulence and cavitation.

Основанная в 1997 году компания CFX Berlin (изначальное название CFD Research & Consulting GmbH) всегда сосредотачивала свои усилия на доработке и применении Ansys CFX. Так они сделали специализированные сеточный генератор TwinMesh, стоивших и динамически морфивший очень крутые HEX сетки для вращающихся машин. Вроде как, внутри там был ICEM CFD.
В прошлом году компания CFX Berlin перестал быть партнером Ansys. Так что теперь у нас есть TwinMesh для Siemens STAR-CCM+. Вот такой вот оксюморон.
